Welcome to RUTH TRADING LIMITED ("RUTH," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of our virtual phone number and SMS reception services (collectively, the "Services"). By creating an account or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Description of Services

RUTH provides virtual phone number services for receiving SMS messages, including:

• One-Time Numbers — disposable virtual numbers intended for a single SMS verification;
• Long-Term Rentals — dedicated virtual numbers rented for a fixed period;
• SMS Reception Panel — real-time display of messages received on your activated numbers;
• API Access — programmatic purchase of numbers and retrieval of received messages;
• Country & Operator Targeting — selection of numbers from 180+ countries and supported operators.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into contracts to use the Services. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use the Services to:

• engage in fraud, identity theft, phishing, harassment or any unlawful activity;
• send outbound messages — the Services are strictly for receiving SMS;
• circumvent bans, blocks or security measures imposed by third-party platforms;
• create misleading accounts or impersonate any person or organization;
• resell, sublicense or share access to individual numbers without our prior written consent;
• use the Services in any manner that violates the laws of your jurisdiction or the target platform's terms.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with notice where practicable. We reserve the right to report suspected illegal activity to the appropriate authorities.

4. SMS Delivery & Number Lifecycle

We deliver SMS messages received on your activated numbers to your account panel or via API in real time. One-time numbers are automatically released shortly after the expected message is received or the activation window expires. We do not guarantee that every third-party platform will accept virtual numbers for verification, and we make no representation regarding any specific service's compatibility.

5. Message Content & Retention

Messages received on your numbers are processed solely to deliver them to you. We do not read, analyse or monetise message content. Received messages are retained in your inbox for up to 30 days and are then permanently deleted. You are responsible for saving any codes or content you need.

6. Billing & Balance

The Services operate on a prepaid balance. Charges apply when a number is activated, based on country, operator and product type. Balance top-ups are non-refundable except where required by law. Failed activations (no SMS received within the activation window) are credited back automatically. We may adjust pricing for future activations with prior notice.

7. Intellectual Property

The RUTH name, logo, website design, software and systems are owned by RUTH TRADING LIMITED or its licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free SMS delivery.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RUTH shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, codes, accounts or profits arising from your use of the Services. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the three (3) months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate the Services for non-payment or material breach of these Terms. Upon termination, remaining balance is forfeited where termination results from your breach.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on the website or by email. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
